For the most part, buying a tiny plant doesn’t mean it has to stay tiny! This is a great option for trying a new variety without as much investment, getting the right starters for a terrarium or to DIY a bonsai, and perhaps most of all, for sneaking in more houseplants without anyone else noticing. Our lips are sealed.
Remember that a little pot will dry out much faster than a large pot, so tiny plants should be checked often. We don’t recommend repotting any plant right away, but when you’re ready to size up, only go 1-2″ bigger in diameter at a time. So if you purchased a 2″ pot, it shouldn’t go into anything bigger than a 4″ pot and so on.
