Meet the Lavocats
Since 1980 when Don and Teri Lavocat first opened their doors, they’ve been on a mission to grow the best plants and foster a welcoming community. Their children – Chris, Leslie, and Donnie have all joined this pursuit and together the family business has expanded continuously to bring more green goodness to WNY. Even the grandkids can be found with their hands in the dirt.
In 2015, the Garden Center moved from the family home in Clarence to a state-of-the-art 19,000 square foot facility just off Transit Rd. in East Amherst. The business supports one a dozen friendly employees, and features a full tree and shrub nursery, an unparalleled selection of houseplants, pottery and gifts, as well as hundreds of varieties of annuals, perennials, and hanging baskets grown on site.
